Sarah has had the pleasure of being a hygienist at Coal Creek Dentistry since 2021 and counting. She focuses on thorough dental care and patient education, believing in a team approach that brings patient and dentist together to improve overall health and wellbeing. Outside the office, Sarah is an avid crafter, traveler, and gamer — and she's always on the hunt for new restaurants, especially anything with noodles!

Helen
Meet Helen, the Lead Dental Assistant at Coal Creek Dentistry! She's been part of the team for three years and loves making a real difference in her patients' experiences. Her favorite part of the job is helping patients feel comfortable, cared for, and confident the moment they walk through the door — she takes pride in supporting high-quality care in a warm, welcoming environment where every patient feels at ease. Outside the office, Helen enjoys walking her 2-year-old Corgi and exploring Seattle for new places to eat, and when she's home and cozy, her go-to comfort meal is hot pot! Helen's excited to keep growing with the Coal Creek family and looks forward to welcoming patients with a smile at every visit.
Lead Dental Assistant
Meet Aneta. She first walked through our doors as a patient 24 years ago. Three years later, she joined our team, and for the past 21 years she's been a cornerstone of our front office — handling scheduling, insurance verification, and pre-authorizations. She's also the best in the business at optimizing the financial component of your treatment. Coal Creek Dentistry feels like a second home to her, and she loves getting to know our patients over the years. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and lives locally

Kim is the newest member of the Coal Creek Dentistry team. She's never worked in dentistry before, but she loves to smile and is excited to join this incredible team of women. She grew up on the Eastside, and for the last 12 years, Renton has been home. Kim loves the outdoors and spending time with loved ones. Her coffee order — and her not-so-secret guilty pleasure — is a cold can of diet soda in the morning. Shhh!

Sterile Technician/Runner
Jessica is our Sterile Technician/Runner, helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized space for patients and the dental team alike. Outside of work, she's a pre-dental student at the University of Washington, hoping to pursue a career in dentistry! In her free time, you'll catch her trying out different cafés and spending time outdoors, whether that's hiking or exploring the city.
Dr. Christine
Dentistry found Dr. Christine early — she started as a dental assistant back in 2003 in her Southern California hometown, long before ever picking up a drill herself. She went on to earn her dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and completed a general practice residency with UCLA. That hands-on beginning shaped everything: she didn't just treat smiles, she got to know the people behind them. After years working in North Seattle, Dr. Christine acquired Coal Creek Dentistry — closer to her own two boys, and to a community she now gets to call her dental home too. She likes to focus on her mental and physical health and exploring places with her boys. Fun fact that not everyone knows is that she is the youngest of 5 kids and shares a birthday along with her dad and nephew — three generations in one day! Whether you've been coming here for years or you're just stopping in for the first time, expect to be treated like family, not a patient number.
